History
Mosshall Farm has been in the Taylor family for over 90 years. It was ran solely as a dairy herd until 2008 when we diversified and began producing AAX and SimX females to start our suckler herd, the dairy herd was then fully dispersed in November 2012. The suckler herd currently consists of around 40 females who are put in-calf to an Aberdeen-Angus bull. The progeny are then sold as store cattle at around 400kg in weight.

We are members of the Aberdeen-Angus Society under the herd prefix MOSSHALL, and performance record with Breedplan – The International Beef Recording Scheme.
We are also members of the SAC Premium Cattle Health Scheme where we are BVD Negative and Johnes Negative Risk Level 1.
